What if in an alternate universe we paid FF, traded pache for an actual OF, and had langeliers knocking down the door to Atlanta?
 
The schedule is about to let up. Maybe the braves have shot off all their toes and decided it best to move forward

It's what I wanted, and what I pushed back on the Olson trade in the thread.

That said, that was BEFORE I saw the Buster article about what FF was doing. I don't see how AA could have done anything differently with FF, except get a bunch more money.

FF treated us like he had a gun to our head. If he would have signed for what he signed with the Dodgers for, then I think he's here and those other moves are likely. Or maybe Pache is in CF and Rosario isn't signed.

AA didn't have that option. We'd be better this year. We may still be worse in the next couple of years as FF ages.
 
Bottomline after a month and a half Olson has been exposed. He is not the hitter Freddie is, nor is he the defensive player Freeman is.
