GDT 5/19/24: Braves vs Padres - Sunday night showdown

One thing you can count on with the FF-less braves, they will never show up on the big stage (Sunday night baseball and playoffs)
 
If elder can't get outs vs the padres, he can't pitch at this level. Send him down or to someone else
 
It’s clear Elder is not the answer. This is not a statement of frustration or panic. It is what it is. He’s just not the guy the Braves need in the rotation. So what do you do? Bring up AJSS and see if he can be that fifth starter, or is it time to look outside the organization? It’s not too early to start looking outside if that’s what it going to come down to.
 
And why in the F did we even pitch elder tonight? Why not Lopez vs darvish, sale vs cease, and elder vs Vasquez (over 6 era)

Now we need a sparkplug season altering event - like a most improbable 8 run comeback -against an on-fire Yu Darvish, with this bunch of auto-outs.

Bonus drivel : who leads the league at swinging at the first pitch ? That’s right, us.
 
I’m turning this **** off and I likely won’t be watching tomorrow or much this week. We’ll be fine, but I’m getting to negatively invested and it’s not worth it to my family because I’m getting pissed lol
 
Money Mike, how about you quit f'n sucking before referring to yourself as money Mike? You can't hit a lick and with every cheeseburger you woof down, you lose a step.
 
Tomorrow's lineup needs to be shook up... and if Riley isn't in the damn lineup, I'm gonna be pissed... why let em sit out 10 days playing a player short?
