Folty has looked really good today and his velocity is back up to 98 so that’s a very good sign. I let Folty pitch the 7th if it’s me.

That’s last AB by Riley is where the “bat speed” issues come from. Got started early on a breaking ball (even though he didn’t really go around) and was then beat by good MLB velocity.

We obviously can’t draw conclusions based off 1 K, but that’s the kind of thing to keep an eye on with Riley.
