GDT 5/22/23: Braves vs Dodgers - A visit from Freeman

When he’s throwing his fastball at 93 instead of 96 because he’s clearly trying to command it, **** is about to go wrong.

It’s very rare that I actually mean it when I say something is a bad loss. But this would be a bad loss, especially with Morton on the mound. Total brain fart by he and Murphy.

There is apparently nothing Morton can do that would get him pulled out of the game this inning.

Saw this on Twitter. Damn.

Morton has been bad tonight but Freeman’s homer had a .070 xBA. Just perfectly placed right down the line. Same with Peralta’s triple last inning.

Shouldn’t even have been an option. He should’ve never faced Freeman.

If the Dodgers can score six off Morton, there's exactly zero reason the Braves can't do the same off Stone, especially when they got four in the first.

Dodgers murder rhp. We're throwing 3 rhp at them. Braves are gonna have to figure out a way to score after the 2nd-3rd inning
