If the Braves want to keep Acuña past age 29, they’re going to have to sign him to an extension sooner rather than later.

Also, I’m pretty sure Acuña was pretty stoked to have his contract after he tore his ACL.

Could see it after this year. Not sure how a renewed contract would look, maybe something like 4/135, would take him to his age 33 season? If anyone is due a renewed deal, it's probably Ozzie. We have 5 more seasons with Acuna after this one, so not like there's a rush for it.
