I was thinking the same thing -if it were up to me, minter, lutege, and JJ would all have a 14 day DL stint - while I used the starting rotation for Rome in my pen.
And no, I’m not kidding. Those kids can go back to TOR academy next spring- or after the trade deadline. Right now we need three “one inning lock down aces.” Just come in and throw bullets for one inning- three or four nights a week.
Desperate times, desperate measures
 
We have a 4:00 and then a 7:00 Sunday game. If Murphy isn't starting these next two, the dude may want to actually request a trade.
 
I'm really not worried too much about the pen. Might be time to flip Danny young and LL. I expect mchugh and minter to get better any time now. When lee returns, it'll give us 5 dependable guys - iglesias, Anderson, mchugh, lee, and minter. I expect Chavez to regress, but 1 of jiminez and yates to improve. Braves' pen seems to struggle early in the season most every year; this could be faulty memory though.
 
The White Sox suck and have some pieces I’d be really interested in. Giolito and Joe Kelly would be the 2 I’d target. Both are having good years and would really give us a big boost. Kelly has a team option for next year at 9.5 million and Giolito will be a FA. It would probably take Grissom but that’d be a big piece for basically 2 rentals.
