GDT 5/26 Braves vs Cards

I hope that we really work with Albies over the course of the next year on how he approaches the game, especially at the plate and on the basepaths. Somebody has got to teach him that relentless aggression is now always the best approach. Sometimes it just takes a little thought and restraint.

The guy has as much talent as anyone in the league, but 90% of his issues are in his head.

Well said.

Could probably say the same thing about his buddy, Acuna.

This ump needs to be fires, his home needs to be repossessed, and he needs to be forced to dance for nickels on the street. I'm not vindictive at all.

Two things that inning may end up costing us a comeback win:

1. Ozzie’s boneheaded baserunning blunder, obviously.

2. Snitker’s inexplicable decision to not pinch-hit Flowers for McCann against Miller.

Both of those instances cost us precious outs.

Hopefully, we've gotten into the Cardinals' psyche. They had this game on cruise control and now they have to gear up to take a game they already had in the mental win column.
