Folty's most likely outcome is that of a "stuff" pitcher like Jeff Samardzija. A guy that never produces more than a 3-4, but holds outsized trade value because everyone wants to dream on him making the leap to being a TOR guy.

As much as I want to see him take that step, trading him might end up being the way to maximize his value to the Braves.

Yeah and his fastball velocity has dropped 3-4 mph too.

That usually has more to do with the radar gun at AT&T park than Folty.

For some reason everytime I watch a game there velocity frmo the fastest pitchers is a few mph lower than it should.

Well he was at 96-97 multiple times before that. I don't think it really makes a shred of difference though.

It's all the burdensome regulations in California keeping the radar guns from working efficiently.
