Folty's most likely outcome is that of a "stuff" pitcher like Jeff Samardzija. A guy that never produces more than a 3-4, but holds outsized trade value because everyone wants to dream on him making the leap to being a TOR guy.

As much as I want to see him take that step, trading him might end up being the way to maximize his value to the Braves.

I think you are right. I'm not sure his head will ever be right. Trade him if the big trade is there. Just don't trade him to the Yankees, because he will turn into a HOF pitcher over night of course..
