GDT 5/27: Mr. Charlie

Wheeler is an excellent pitcher. He can dominate any lineup when he's on and he pitched about as well as he's capable today. We never really had a chance.

Not lighting up Walker is another story. He's as mediocre as they come and he didn't bring his A game. That was a missed opportunity.

Agreed, that early missed opportunity with guy on second and third with no outs (I think?) was the game.
 
We need to quit screwing around with these garbage teams. The Mets aren’t screwing around anymore.
Verlander gave up five runs in the second inning and those d-bags are still gonna win probably. 6-6 currently in 6th inning.

Max’ll be back in about five or six weeks.
Soroka and Schuster/AJSS should be rolling by then. In the meantime, we need to start scoring. A LOT. Our offense isn’t anywhere close to all cylinders right now ….
 
Well, it looks like the Rockies - in their very cool looking Colorado license plate jerseys - may actually pull one out against the Mets
 
Alright. Mets lose. We are still 4.5 up and along with LA still have the fewest losses in the NL.
Seems like we are about to go a serious hot streak (playing Oakland might have something to do with it) and I’d like to get off on the right foot by stomping Philly today.

We are about to enter the easiest portion of our schedule over the next month. Good time to create some distance. Meanwhile Mets have played a much easier schedule and couldn't make up ground. They are about to enter a brutal stretch themselves.
 
Pretty funny that I took offense at someone saying the braves suck at pitching. I accuse us of sucking at something every game. Sorry for my bi-polar guys... I blame the beer

Dude. If you didn’t do that, it wouldn’t be any fun around here. And most of what you bitch about is actually legitimate. At least your rants are grounded in some reality - my grandeur laden posts are worse.

Now drink up- we have a hell of a 36 hours coming up including an all night flight to oakland. And we need to win both games.
 
Idk if we'll win tonight, but if we lose a single game to Oakland, the entire team and coaching staff should have to forfeit their pay for a week.
