It's his second MLB start in more than a year. You absolutely could be correct, but his struggles to find velocity aren't a shocking development.

That's not the case for everyone. But I also don't think he's ever back at 99-100. We need to get used to 97-99 on a good day. Command is the bigger frustration

I'm a little shocked Strider isn't using his full reprotoire given his fastball struggles. His other pitches are still nasty with nice movement
