GDT 5/29: Game One - AJSS and a Sunday Special !!!! Let’s Roll.

I want AA gone as much as snit
Twit has to go first.. GM can tell the higher ups that he can probably get attendance back by getting a new approach in and start winning again... once that fails then our top 5 GM will be next to go. Only so many dumpsters left to look in AA... not sure the answers are in there liked you had hoped.

I want em both gone... order doesn't matter to me

AA isn't going anywhere. He's had 1 bad off season and made the playoffs every year he's been here including 1 WS. The grass always looks greener but a lot of times it's not.

Eh.. I would say last year deadline was a disaster.. I wouldn't put a gold sticker on either offseason that he let FF walk or traded WC for methhead.

But I do agree, he gets more rope... but if he can't turn this around and the battery goes dead... those money hungry hawks are not going to stay happy for long.

I agree that everybody has a rope and AA's is a lot longer. If ownership did tell him to stay below the tax then that gives him even more rope with them than we know. Snits in game decision making is beyond horrible and I'm guessing they are giving him this grace period (not getting fired in season) bc he's been here for over 40 years. Even though he sucks as a manager he still holds a lot of respect around the organization.

If we were getting blown out it would be 1 thing but basically a 1 or 2 run loss just about every time makes it possible to get back into things. I know it looks grim but the team is still talented enough to do it.

They likely won't sell because the roster is better than how they're performing, but would Ozuna net any prospect worth a damn for two months for him to DH for a contender?

I feel like Sale would get a good player back, but with the state of the staff, you need him and his option for 2026.

I really hope they turn it around, but June 2025 will tell us a lot because the schedule is rough until the trade deadline outside of 3-4 series.

1 and 2 run losses would be more likely to be wins with a capable manager and mlb players (AA)

Verdugo is so fucking boring man..He reminds me Casey Kotchman...just a boring fucking player who's does nothing impactful.
