How do we make absolutely, positively, 100% sure that the rookie left fielder who just got called up (under sub-optimal circumstances) produces absolutely nothing for the big league squad in the next 10 days? ... I know, sit his ass on the bench! Maybe bring him in as the final PH option w/ the team down by 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th. Yes, that works. Definitely setting him up for huge success if we sit him on the bench, definitely the right call there. After all, we have MUCH better options to start the game.
 
Somebody posted in another thread that starting Dansby Light vs. LH starter would be the norm until Acuna gets back-
And after the walk off, I am fine with this...
 
Snitker man. What a joke. How do you not play D Pete. If you wanted strictly bench player why not call up Boujous or Santana or any AAAA retread.
 
Yeah- in another thread somebody mentioned we get to avoid Thor and Sherzer this week. Finally a break.
