I will always wonder just what the hell happened, and I'm grateful for it, but I still wonder what the hell happened behind the scenes and behind the curtain during our 2021 playoff run.

Google says that 4 seamers drop 4 inches more on average at Coors field. Given that he was averaging 17" of IVB in his rehab stints, I am inclined to believe the FB should be much better his next start.

I hope so. Desperately need him to be a middle rotation level starter

Still think it would have been better to line up Strider for game 1 in Seattle, a pitcher's park with a meh offense. They lined him up for LAD but if he starts G1 against Seattle he'd pitch G3 against LAD.

Having his first start in Coors was not the best idea.

I think we should at least see how he does in one more start. He was looking pretty good in the minors, obviously MLB hitters are better. And away from Coors altitude.

Anything and everything went right. And whoever was telling him, pushed the right buttons. Matzek turning into prime Rivera didnt hurt either.
