Has anyone said that? It’s adorable people are still holding out hope strider’s velocity will return more than 2 years after his elbow procedure.
Wake up and smell the back of the rotation starter.
I still think he will. Not backing off that eitherHas anyone said that?
I mentioned that Coors causes on average 4" more of drop on the 4 seamer. And in his rehab starts, he was averaging 17" of IVB. So I would expect the 4 seamer to improve his next start.
As you love to say, the data is available to anyone.

How can the Rockies roster be so bad. They were terrible for 7 straight years before this year and don't have 1 premium player. If we combined with them how many even make our roster? 2? I get that Coors sucks fir pitchers but they can't even develop good hitting. In 7 years of high draft picks. Ww drafted Drake in the third round 4 years ago and he is far better than anything the Rockies have produced in 7 years. In that time we drafted and developed like 5+ players who would be their franchise player.
Rockies owners are notorious for meddling. They don't invest in player development either, and have virtually no foot print in the international market. How can the Rockies roster be so bad. The Pirates at least have an excuse for having an owner that won't spend any money. They have done an "ok" job of developing players since the turn of the century, but aside from Cutch, they haven't really kept anyone. The Rockies aren't the Dodgers payroll wise, but they have generally been a mid payroll team, dishing out some hefty contracts over the years. The Pirates, OTOH, are almost always bottom 5 in payroll..Some people really take for granted just how great this orginzation has been for 35+ years. You'll have teams like the Rockies and Pirates who are just perennial losers with a couple of good years here and there.
