I remember the post-game interview they had with him after he either had a game-winning hit or hit a home run. Gosselin was clearly so nervous he spewed just about every baseball cliche known to man in answering a series of questions. Like you, I always thought he projected as a passable 25th guy.

I remember the extend troy glaus threads....

The braves are going to put someone like AJ Pollock in the OF. They are not going with 34 and 35 yo Neck.

If Neck is 75% of this he'll play his way into a deal somewhere. I'd love to have him as a 1 million bench bat but that's only if he's 1 WAR neck, not this neck.

I'd even sell high on him if I could get something and free up money for moose. Play Comargo in RF and/or a Tucker/Peterson platoon.

Having a veteran around that is productuve is valuable with a room full of kids. If the price is right I want him bacj.
 
There are quite a few outcomes that are worse than the Braves bringing Nick back for another year.

There are plenty of superior outcomes (count me in on the sign AJ Pollock team)

But I can certainly live with a one year deal with Nick if he keeps it up. He’s made some non insignificant adjustments this season.
