GDT: 5/30 Angels

It's a tad depressing to see how we look this year (considering the bad last few years included). Then see the Yankees who decided to do a partial trade off just last year (netting a ton that made their farm near ours and even signing back one of the guys they traded off), and they are already back to winning.

It's one inning. Relax.

Well...yesterday we were down 6-1 in the third . It's happened a lot. I mean...maybe not this bad, but Colon was down 6-0 in the first inning at Houston. We've had a TON of games, that we are in a big hole by the third inning this year.

I just do not watch any game where Colon is the scheduled starter, I already know what is going to happen so why bother?

The Yankees had a system to work with already. Plus they traded two kimbrels when the closer market had already exploded. Not the same thing at all

Yeah, must be nice to have an infinite payroll.

We won 6-3 yesterday...

I really don't blame the infielders for their sloppy inning. They've been used to balls rocketing all over the outfield when Colon pitches, so they simply weren't ready for playable ground balls.

Seriously, bad, bad night on the ball field.

I don't remember Jace being this poor defensively last year. He only needs to play in the outfield these days.

His defense has really fallen off wherever he plays. He played decent (not anything special) 2B the season he was a starter. He's a 25th guy now on a bench full of 25th guys.
