Of course batting Riley in front of Swanson is the correct move, and of course the sequencing luck cost the Braves 1 run immediately after making the right move.

There are 4! = 24 permutations of BB, Double, groundout, flyout. How many of them result in a run?
 
Okay, someone from management needs to sit Freeman down and ask him, honestly, if his elbow is bothering him. The announcers are speculating it might be. They don’t know ****, but the only time I’ve seen him look this bad was...when his elbow was hurting him. He says it doesn’t, but last time he said that he ended up having elbow surgery a month later.

If it is, he needs to be forced to go the the IL to get it healed. He is only hurting us and himself by trying to play through it.

The entire premise behind the “three true outcome” style killing the sport is that there is less “action”. With shifts, stuff is still happening. And they have existed since the beginning.
