I think we’ll be fine, but you aren’t beating good teams if all 3 facets of the game aren’t working.

Thats my coping theory. We win the wild card and let the Phillies take the division this time so we get that wild card advantage. Maybe that and sacrificing Acuna's knee again will bring that 2021 magic back.

Mlb at bat has added a >.500 column to the standings. Pretty interesting stuff...
Baltimore is 15-7 vs over .500 teams
Braves are 7-7
Philly is 4-2

Baltimore is clearly the best team in baseball. They have the best record, and they're dominating good teams.

Philly has played the least games vs winning teams. 6 is pretty amazing... the next closest is TB at 13.

Houston has been abysmal vs good teams, 7-18.

186 players have 100+ PAs. Olson ranks as the 5th unluckiest of those hitters in terms of wOBA vs xwOBA. Olson is probably going to be just fine.

Kelenic on the other hand, is looking terrible. I’ll wait until he hits 100 PAs, but when folks said “average hitter” was his floor I replied with the fact “unplayable” was his actual floor. He has been pretty close to unplayably bad so far.
