Career high in pitches is 123 last season against Minnesota. Has gone over 110 I beeline three times.
 
I hated Fredi keeping Julio in after he had to run the bases and gut out 6 innings. But I must say impressive job by Teheran, esp. since Doumit is a terrible catcher and has made some question pitch calls (and cost him some strikes with his awful pitch framing). I like Doumit's bat but watching him catch makes Gattis look even better than he is.
 
We should be mindful of the fact that Teheran is coming off a season where he pitched more stressful innings than ever before. We have two relievers who have only thrown sunflower seeds this season.
 
Watching Freddie Freeman hit is almost as glorious as watching Kelly Johnson ... except without the excruciating pain.
 
I mean if it was the middle of the year, I'd be alright with it. Not the second start of the year. In a cold game. When you've got an 8-man pen, of which a couple guys haven't really pitched yet.
