I've been praising Thomas since shortly after we got him from Ind. ball. But I watch a lot of minor league games, most just had never seen him pitch till spring training.

I wanted him to get called up last year.

I understood last year leaving him in the minor leagues but I'm really glad they brought him up immediately. This guy is going to be a huge plus to the team this year and it will allow Freddi to keep Wood in the rotation where he belongs. Just that by itself makes Thomas one of the most valueable Braves on the team.
