Marlins - 6 GB (6 to play)
Phillies - 7 GB (13 to play)

That was my point. Less head to head games makes it harder to make up ground. So getting out to this start, even while not being 100% with our injuries is an ideal spot to be. Hopefully AA adds to the pen and/or rotation at the deadline and we take off.

Glad Minter got that work in last night! And now he’s thrown three times in four days and is almost certainly down tomorrow night.
 
And by the way … who predicted both the Ozuna and MH2 dingers yesterday ? And the Ozuna dinger again today ?
SAV needs to give that dude a raise around here.
 
When Ozzie gets on a hot streak, he's absolutely insane... the only comparable hot streak player maybe Riley... would love to see one of those start soon. Although he's been looking much better than past couple games.

Atlanta manager Brian Snitker said after the game that Acuna is "fine," but was having trouble bending his knee, so the club wanted to get him treatment right away.

"You hit a ball off your knee, it's going to hurt ... but he's going to be fine," Snitker said.
