GDT 5-5: Braves-Mariners; Left Fielder Michael Harris II

Honestly if your making moves for the playoffs at the deadline. LFer and a #2 starter is what we are looking at. The backend of the Braves pen is as good as it gets. There is enough filler down there that can get you through the season.
 
Man, I passed the hell out with my daughter last night right before the game started 😂 I'm so glad we got a nice win! Also, Lee, Suarez and Iglesias is absurd lol

Iglesias was the better reliever and should have been closer but Kenley was closing just because of "veteran seniority".

I disagree. Iggy has been an elite closer with the Braves since he was acquired. He's perfect in the role. Suarez is best suited to face the highest-leverage situations each night. Weiss just typically runs Lee, Suarez and Iggy 7-8-9 lol
 
I like Suarez in the 7th or 8th because you can put him in vs a teams top of the order if you need it. And Iggy has been nails this year.
 
If we can't add a really good SP at the deadline then go get another elite BP arm and shorten the games. SP is always scarce but there are always several really good BP arms available. Either way AA is in the best position possible bc he has the talent and the money to get whatever we need.
 
the whole blah blah should pitch this inning is so dumb...every inning is a save...career splits should tell us that bobby is just as good versus lhh as he is versus righties..iggy is a bit worse versus lefties and therefore should get whatever inning he is to face the most righties in the highest leverage spot.. bobby should get the highest leverage spots where lefties are due...

we will see how smart WW is when he lets bobby face the bottom of the order against the faillies or mutts because it is the 8th inning..then iggy gets soto or kyle/harper because it is the 9th

Didn’t that already happen this year?
 
About the only way we've been losing games is having one of our group of non-MLB quality relievers absolutely melt down. Payamps, Wrong Suarez, Bummer, Kinley, etc. If we had another two quality arms in the pen we'd probably have 4-5 more wins.
