GDT 5/6: Perez, Two Catchers, and Jarvis.. Let’s win one for Uncle Ted!

The Phillies are actually going to fluke their way back to .500. that's incredibly annoying.

Dudes have an abysmal differential. Just a ton of luck lately.

I didn't get to watch the game, but man it's so frustrating to see them piss game 1 away. Today was just a tough game but only losing by two with Perez up there somehow feels like a win. But Game 1 was a freebie, according to Statcast and expected stats.

While the Phillies are not as bad as they showed in April, they still have a ton of holes. They're closer to a .500 team than they are a 90+ win team.

The Phillies have beat up on weaker teams and won like 4 or 5 games recently by one run. I double checked statcast and they've been projected to lose the majority of them.

They were never going to be terrible, but they absolutely aren't great. I still think they're an 85-90-win team. But Atlanta should be 95-100.

As much as we've talked about needing to get/stay healthy, the Phillies literally cannot afford to lose any of Harper, Wheeler, Sanchez, or Schwarber for any amout of time. They have ZERO depth. And Harper is usually good for missing 20-30 games.

After this series with the Rockies, they face some better teams. And even Colorado isnt god awful, they took 2 of 3 from LA, and gave the Braves a scare. And they face the Padres/Dodgers for 9 games at the end of the month, so we'll see where things are then. Even then, an 8.5 game lead this early in the season is pretty good. Even 8/9 depending what happens today with the A's/Phi game.
