Acuna has to be fixed or this team has no chance.
He has really struggled with fastballs, producing pedestrian exit velos and xwOBA when he connects with that pitch.
Overall, his exit velo is down 3 percentage points.
His xwOBA is down 120 points (!!).
His hard hit % is down 4 percentage points from his career AVERAGE.
His K % has ballooned to the second highest in his career. (more than double last year's)
His launch angle still sucks and his barrel rate has been cut in half.
His speed and arm strength have both gone down, as well.
Hard to explain for someone who should be peaking at age 26.
