GDT- 5/7/21- Phillies at Braves. MAX CAPACITY

I don't know that many ever expected Pache to be an elite hitter. But if he can be an average hitter and a GG center fielder, he becomes a very valuable player. Way too early to pass any judgments on the defense, which has been good but is hard to measure at all, much less in small samples.

What would suggest that he has a bad work ethic?

I meant he didn’t have Druws specific work ethic on defense not that Pache’s was bad. Druw had some really unique things he did.

I’m not trying to say Pache can’t be valuable either I’m just saying it’s fair to be a bit concerned at this point.

Thank God nobody's ever put you in charge of *hit. Trout hit .156 in his first 16 games (with 2 HRs, 2 2Bs, and 11 strikeouts back in 2011, and that was AFTER he'd had 3 full months of minor league ABs to get himself going before getting called up.

The Angels should have been scared to death!!!

As for Druw's work ethic, Bobby had to take him out more than once for not hustling and finally had to leave him out of the lineup altogether the day after it happened for the fourth time.

Folks are ready to give up on Pache after like 50 PAs? And are ready to pass judgment on his defense after 16 games? Is this real life?

I think Pache has been exactly what we feared he might be when AA didn’t add an OFer: not ready to hit MLB pitching. I’m pretty sure almost everyone knew there was a strong chance that was going to be the case, and if Heredia and Ender weren’t injured, Pache would be in AAA right now getting reps.

I expect the Braves to pummel Eflin, and for Morton to contain the Phils reasonably well as long as Snit pulls him at the correct time.

Braves win big tonight...9-3.

Ridiculous, I know. We won't get an accurate measure till 75 PA and 25 games defensively

Segura just isn’t that good and he kills us every time. Do you think these guys are learn not to throw him pitches down the middle
