The announcers are complaining about Julio not going in enough on hitters like it's all on Julio. Did they notice who's catching?

My thoughts exactly, look where AJP is setting up. His game calling is bad, Flowers had Teheran pitching to both sides and up and down a lot more. Shoot everyone that catches Teheran but AJP he has much better numbers, that is telling enough.

Doesn't matter... Aj had an OPS of .533 before tonight's 0-2. That kind of offense makes up for aj's defense

I don't think either is good but I think part of that has been a smaller sample for Flowers and not catching the better starters regularly. Remember before we added Blair our staff was really struggling, though Wisler and Teheran have come on since. Has Flowers even caught Teheran more than once so far?

I thought so, just asking in case I had forgot a start. I know Fredi has basically paired AJP with Teheran despite it not working and his numbers being terrible with him in a bunch of games while better throwing to everyone else.

Julio's pitch count was a result of his own lack of command more than anything AJ did or didn't do.
