I was very happy to win 3 of 4 from the Nats, surprised we did as badly as Snit managed the bullpen this series. Today I thought pushing Soroka rather than resting him was stupid, as was not using this game to get O'Day an inning to see what we got as a healthy O'Day is potentially a strong bullpen weapon. He looked great in his AAA rehab and despite walking the only batter he faced in the series, his velocity was the normal 86-87 mph as it was when last healthy. If his slider is sharp enough then he should be able to help us if Snit is smart enough to give him the work he needs to shake off any rust.

Ortega plays because of all the RH starting pitching we face. LaMarre is really in competition with Riley and Duvall on the depth chart.

True. LaMarre's limited success in MLB has been against lefties, his numbers vs righties are no better than Ortega's. It's good he is getting a shot with the Twins though as he was a lesser version of Riley and Duvall for us.
