Also, per DoB, Freeman's past 162 gms: .317 (191-for-603) w/ 94 XBH (45 2B, 7 3B, 42 HR), 103 RBI, 98 BB, 166 K, .418 OBP, .624 slug%(1.041 OPS)

I just don't understand this FO. They demote Lane Adams so they could trade for and start a guy with a career .681 OPS, which is bolstered by an .824 OPS way back in 2014.

Like...what's the point?

It is a head scratcher. Lane didn't do bad at all. Now releasing Boni and getting this guy...sure...ok I guess. Lane has to be pissed. If I worked hard to get my "chance" and then was treated like that...wow.

To be fair, Lane did go hitless in his last 2 ABs.

How is lane as a defender? Maybe we aren't comfortable with him or Santana in cf.

Seriously, cut this trash and get kids like Newcomb some experience. You want innings? Well, you actually have to get guys out in order to eat innings. Blair, Newcomb, or whoever else can't be any worse than on that front.
