GDT #53, 5/29/'14: Braves (Minor) vs. Red Sox (Peavy), 7:10 EST

Everyone's been crowing about the offense, and—to a lesser extent—the defense, but it's the bullpen that has killed the Braves all series, and which has looked like the weakest-link in terms of how the 2014 team has been composed.

No...

Inability to get add on runs has killed this team tonight....Runner at 2B with 0 out and doesnt score...fckn pathetic...

And yes, the bullpen doesnt help...

I love how Fredi watched Carpenter get roped (even though the grounder up the middle wasn't his fault) and took him out after a three-pitch strikeout.

This team is a pile of **** from the top to bottom.

while that may be true we need offense in a bad way from that position.

Agreed, But people are needing to realize the price of that offense. He could easily cost as many runs as he drives in. The Braves brass knows this, which is why Uggla, Pena and Pastornicky all were given chances before La Stella.

He could. Only way to find out is to play him. There aren't any better options at this point.

Kimbrel needs to be in to pitch to Ross...no fckn question here...Certainly our manager isnt this stupid
