Wow folty wow

couldn't have said it better myself

I had to work late, and I'm west coast so I missed most of this game live... gonna sit down now and watch the entire pitching performance now. Gotta say, Folty making me eat my words from a few weeks back. Super exciting to see him touching the enormous potential. Having him & Newk pitching on back-to-back days is definitely creating some awesome synergy and healthy competition between those 2, first time we've seen that in a long, long time.

If these guys keep this up, we're not just a playoff contender, we're a WS contender. HUGE statement for these 2 pitchers to reclaim 1st place right away & keep the recent funk from turning into a spiral. It feels like they are letting the Nats know that we are most definitely for real, and they are not gonna coast to the division title.

1st wave = Wisler, Blair right?

Jenkins too. Folty is the one who made it out of that group. 1 out of 4 is about right. I'm not including Fried in this group because he was a bit further away due to the time lost from the TJ surgery.

totally forgot about him, thanks for reminding me - I knew I was forgetting one and it was kinda bugging me LOL.

the other piece in the trade that started the rebuild

Jenkins was not a focal point of the deal. Wisler certainly was.

I don't think the throw in guys should be considered the 'missed' pitchers.

Blair was a top 50 talent. Not filler. Wisler and Blair were part of first wave along with Folty and probably manban. Jenks. Whalen. And Gant were mostly filler hope for the best.
