This is getting close to rolling with smith and lucroy. You can't play a catcher that allows runners to move up at his rate
 
I’m not sure what is worse - our horrible catcher or our dumb redneck fans chanting “overrated” at one of the best young players in the game ... I actually sorta wanted him to drive that ball to shut those dumb****asses up.
 
I don’t see how any of our starters have any confidence in throwing a ball in the dirt with Contreras catching. He’s probably the worst I’ve ever seen at the pro level.
 
Santana is pure ****ing garbage and Snit keeps running him out there. It was only a 3 run game I’m the 4th against the Nationals bullpen btw.

Maybe… just maybe.

Have better control.

Contreras could be better, but Fried has no idea where the ball is going.
