Yes. Markakis has a 172 OPS+ with 2 strikes
wait really? where do you see that?

Go down to the count/ball-strikes section and check the sOPS+. It's basically his OPS+ for that split. Now Neck's OPS is only 713 with 2 strikes but the leagues number is 525.
baseball reference has it at 63 for his career
Freeman is still a good hitter guys
Yes. Markakis has a 172 OPS+ with 2 strikes
ahhh that makes a lot of sense. i was wondering how his wRC+ could be that high with his average being .250 on the year...forgetting it's against the rest of the league's hitters.
What the ****. I go make lunch and **** hit the fan. JD and Neck with hits. Shut up. Maybe I need to go make more food. What is everyone having.
Go get your dinner and then your supper, too.
I smell something funny with that stat. Seems it is likely his OPS+ when he makes contact with 2 strikes. Or is that saying he is 72$ better than the rest of MLB when they have 2 strikes?
His actual OPS through 2 strike counts:
3-2 (40 PAs): 1.327
2-2 (66 PAs): .786
1-2 (69 PAs): .531
0-2 (56 PAs): .651
I strongly suspect someone is trying to make Markakis look better with 2 strikes than he actually is by hacking the meaning of numbers for a cool graphic.
is dinner not supper?
It is
is dinner not supper?
Yeah he is 72% better with 2 strikes this year. Neck's OPS entering today with 2 strikes was 713. The league has a 525 OPS with 2 strikes. Number checks out to me.
