Meant to say streak but **** it I’m sticking with it lol.

May as well chalk up an 0-4 for Ozzie.
They moved him out of the 8 hole so he has no chance of being productive.
I believe Neck will show his veteran lairdership with a multi hit game though.

Riley since June 1:

142 PAs, 34.5% Ks, .212/.273/.470, 84 wRC+

How does Enders back feel?

Kinda feel like I have to point out that Ender was giving us a putrid 61 wRC+ before going on the IL this year. Last year he only provided us with 90 wRC+. It’s not like Riley has played poor defense either although of course Ender’s better. I’d like to give Riley a chance to work through these issues especially considering he’s finding a way to keep his ops above 700 during this adjustment period.

A healthy ender is tremendously better than riley. Also 700+ ops is still pretty bad in this run scoring environment.

Kinda feel like I need to point out Inciarte was dealing with a back injury for an unknown period of time, some metrics like sprint speed and exit velocity suggest he may have been dealing with an injury for quite some time, and has proven to be a 3 win CFer when healthy.

Riley has been showing zero improvement in his plate discipline and contact numbers since getting to the MLB level, and I’ve seen zero data that suggests he is adjusting at all. Folks are still being fooled by the insane luck for his first few weeks.

Riley is no longer a negative defender, 0.7 def value according to fangraphs. Offense has fell off lately, but probably should give him props for turning around defense in quick time
