GDT 6/13/19: Keep the steak alive

I'm not saying the Hartcoppy years were barren but when you consider draft position, extra early picks, all the major league talent traded, the money spent on international signings, the returns look unimpressive

Lol.

That’s an embarrassingly bad take.

Weird that Swanson isn’t good on offense or defense but is half a win better than andrelton for 12m less dollars.

Andrelton generated 23.4 WAR during his pre-free agency eligibility period. We'll see which of the Hartcoppy boyz comes close to approaching that. Not to mention the additional surplus value beyond that period which will be generated under the favorable contract that Wren extented him on.

I’m sure the Angels have great memories of watching him make plays on those losing teams.

Sigh, what could have been, right?

Andrelton, Trout, Ohtani, Adell. I think they may yet have a championship season somewhere down the line.

What Adell is doing in AA is making it seem like Waters is in a slump.

Lol Phillies pitcher just got tossed after hitting Justin Turner with a breaking ball in a 12-1 game. Turner was laughing at the ump for tossing the guy. Kapler couldn't even successfully get tossed.

Have to finish over .500 first.

I don’t follow other teams minors much, but am aware Adell has been crushing it.
