GDT 6/14/25: Braves vs Rockies - Get Strider a Win

Thinking about Acuna’s career, Covid plus 2 knee injuries have cost him about 2.5 full seasons of PAs. A full healthy season for Acuna is 150 hits and 40 HRs, meaning his career numbers are currently short by 375 hits and 100 HRs. He was a shell of his former self coming back from the first injury, so those numbers could be even higher.

Whatever he ends up doing it will be even more impressive when considering what unlucky circumstances dealt him.

That's why I hope they let Ozuna walk in the offseason and let Acuna spend a few days a week there.

Do you think he'll end up healthyish enough in the aggregate that we won't be thinking of him retroactively in the same vein as griffey or Eric Davis?

Too bad it took a second major injury to get him to realize that he should just choose to be the best hitter in baseball (not named Aaron Judge)
Maybe the age difference answers this already, but, who would you take between them right now, given the knee surgeries for ronald?
