It wouldn't be with your mom around..2023 wasn’t a juiced ball year.
but it is also not this years Brave's offense. Nor last years.. Long ways away from that production.

right.. but Profar as a DH is, well, uninspiring. maybe dude can catch fire the rest of the year and he could be unloaded for the cost of his deal.
lmao. Forgot how bad his takes were.
Bill Shanks' latest meltdown for those in need of a laugh. But he's not wrong except for his slurping of Brian Snitker.
I won't argue with that. I would still like to move on from the Profar deal if possible. Not a fan of a juicer personally. And I really liked that signing too. We all should have realized playing next to a cheater and all of a sudden having a great season, might indicate he was a cheater too..DH's aren't your typical offensive monsters anymore. The league average OPS for a DH this year is 744.
But in the end it doesn't matter who plays what position. The idea this year was Profar in LF and Ozuna at DH. If it's switched up and Profar at DH and Tucker or whoever else in LF then it's whatever. The team just needs good hitters. And if they move on from Ozuna they will need another good hitter to fill that void. Hopefully with someone who can play the field a bit so Acuna can be rotated through the DH role. That's really the ultimate goal here. To get Acuna a DH start once a week.
I think we just need him to get a better juicer contact that can help him dodge the test betterI won't argue with that. I would still like to move on from the Profar deal if possible. He needs to hit like Ozzie and Harris.. no way the league would ever test him then.I think we just need him to get a better juicer contact that can help him dodge the test better
I hope Profar comes back strong so he can hopefully build some value and we can get rid of the contract. Luckily it'll just be 2 years left so maybe somebody takes a chance if he rebounds.
Even if he hit well I would still be leery and trade him.If he comes back strong, we won't be getting rid of the contract. As long he hits well, he is worth the contract. If he doesn't hit well, no one will want him.
He was hiding it well in SD bc they tested him several times and he didn't fail.Just gotta get a better dope hiding protocol .
Don’t make it harder than it’s gotta be
if you spread out all the terrible hitters, then.. I don't know.. I got nothing.. but look at the options.. Acuna then a bunch of garbage.Eli white hitting 2nd tonight lol
impossible to take the team and the FO serious when you see shit like this. How fucking hard is it to bat your best OBP hitter in the two hole when he isn’t hitting for power? Seriously, how fucking hard is that to figure out?
And not like him hitting for power should matter, when you have your best power hitter batting lead off and refuse to move him.
This is the part that stings the most...how stupid it makes everyone else look. With hindsight it's obvious he was juicing...and everyone let their blinders get in the way of seeing it. It's obvious Tatis knows how to get around the current testing systems, and without him involved the league easily caught Profar. A guy on his way out of the league has no downside to juicing in an effort to cash in one last time, and that's exactly what happened.I won't argue with that. I would still like to move on from the Profar deal if possible. Not a fan of a juicer personally. And I really liked that signing too. We all should have realized playing next to a cheater and all of a sudden having a great season, might indicate he was a cheater too..
Totally not Snitker’s fault that a team that must win at the margins can’t though.Mr. .472 OPS against LHP is hitting 2nd. Unbelievable.
I know there's a bunch of shit in this lineup, but that is inexcusable. Those pining for more of the same with Eddie Perez and Walt Weiss is maddening.
I mean there is a person in charge that could just send an email to twit that says from now on, the lineup will be order by OPS or OBP or wOBA.. any one of those can be debated.. failure to do this will result in immediate termination..Totally not Snitker’s fault that a team that must win at the margins can’t though.
