The Rays took a flier on him before us. When the Rays see something in a pitcher, I’m okay with giving him a try too

I am sure he had a lot of emotion his first time back in the big leagues.

I think there is potential there. Give him a few more appearances in low leverage situations, then, if he shows some stability, increase the workload.
