Hmm. 😂😂😂. Acuña makes bone headed mistakes, you simply have to be smarter, but for someone claiming he's like a son, Snit is a bad parent. Let's see him go kick the next pitchers arse when they intentional hit Acuña again.

Perhaps Twit should learn how to manage a bullpen...rant over.

A little bit of a difference between the Swanson play and Acuna play though. Swanson making it to 3rd would of put a runner on 3rd with less than 2 outs. Could then score in several ways that didn't require a hit to take the lead. Acuna being on 3rd would have served zero purpose. His run did not matter at all in that situation. It was a very bad mistake.
 
Braves are tied for the 5th worst record in the NL. Time to pack it in and focus on next year. Any moves need to have that in mind.

It’s not over, but it’s close. The good news is that we have plenty of expiring contracts, so things can be fixed next year with the right moves.

I even saw an article from the AJC ( I think) about what additions the Braves can make this year. Are these people out of their mind? Yes, you can make additions, but the ones they were mentioning were 2 month rentals -- you need additions that will help you in 2022 and/or beyond.

Unless the Braves can be like 10-2 or 9-3 vs. the Mets before July 31, there's no point in adding rentals.
 
AA had been playing the Snitker card correctly all along until this past offseason. He gave him one-year deals with a club option deal. He blew it by extending him multiple years plus a club option for 2024.

I've never been a fan of Snitker at all due to his in-game blunders which have been the case since 2016, but he was the head of a team that had been getting better each year (in spite of his decision making). This is now the perfect time to get rid of him if the rest of the year continues this way.

It's still a pattern. Both by Acuña and his manager. Imho, he's quicker to admonish Acuña. Maybe rightfully so but the time to do it is still the clubhouse. He should show the same balls when they're intentionally throwing at Acuña. Oh yeah...and learn how to manage the damn bullpen.

We've cursed the baseball gods for the bad luck they've delivered upon us this year. However, it never occurred to us that they're trying to do us a favor by helping us get rid of Snit.
 
Team is cursed. Be conservative with everyone's health. Play for the future. Try to win but don't rush Soroka or make any roster decisions that are not focused on winning in 22 and beyond.
 
This board will never learn. I screamed from the mountains to change the board name. Then we come up with a fix to appease the baseball gods by post GDT in optimistic section and then we don’t just pissing off the gods even more. But we have to be getting closer to twit being fired so carry on.

Start the GDT in the optimistic forum. If we win, the board name has to be changed. Take the lead, Matt.
