Brutal job by the Phillies. There was a two-plus hour window with almost no rain that they decided not to play in. Now we play two on Sept. 11? They were scared AND hate America.
There was never a window with “almost no rain” but if they weren’t going to play at 715 I have no idea why they thought it would get better. There was no indication it would. I think they just wanted to continue to sell drinks and food to people until 830.

There was a big party being hosted by a big bank that went until 830. They called it at 830.

I see nothing wrong with this really. I am sure if they were just allowing fans to hang around and spend money and let party go the distance, then they also probably let teams know and they headed out long before the game officially got called. I am sure the bank appreciated being able to serve the food and drinks that were already paid for and the guest were able to eat and drink and be celebrated. Plus they didn't have to watch thier team lose.

My cousin lives about 5 minutes from CPB and he said it barely rained from 9 - 11 p.m. Yes, it was a weird decision by Philly.
Yeah I suppose I meant between initial game time and when they decided to call it. It lightened up but was still coming down
