Swarzak has been lucky, but Jackson has been legitimately very good and, in fact, somewhat unlucky.

Fun fact: they’re both from Ft Lauderdale.

It's not the Yankees bullpen or the 2014-15 Royals, but there's at least some viable options down there now.

Dayton, Minter, Touki, Newk, Swarzak, Webb, Jackson, i mean even Blevins has been ok. Sure we need to add another arm, but the rotation is a much bigger need.

Given the Nats schedule at the end of the 1st half (Miami 6 times, and Det/KC 6 times), and our schedule next week. We wouldnt "finish" but it's huge to win today given we're throwing Soroka. Hopefully he throws a gem and the Braves bats provided it's not a Sunday lineup can go to work.

I think what many on this board have already speculated will happen.

Wilson to get the next start. He already has some MLB experience, has had success the past few outings and is lined up on the same day.

Ultimately, I think its Newks spot but its hard to make an argument to move him out of the bullpen considering the success he has had this season.

Yeah I think you're right. Just read the MLBTR piece, and looks like it could be Wilson coming up. Glad we've got all this pitching depth. And agreed that Newk should be left in the pen since he's doing so well
