I’m enough of a fan of the way the team has been scrapping the last several games that it’s barely sunken in that Abraham Almonte is our cleanup hitter.

Almonte has been damn good. Somehow his play (along with others along the way) has caused the Braves to end up with the 10th best LF production in baseball. CF production still blows at 25th even with Heredia providing spurts of effectiveness. With the way Pache and Ozuna played it's amazing that we were able to get some AAAA players to really help out in those areas so far. Still need to acquire a real player for one of those positions though.
