The kiss blowing incident is really well known. It kind of set the tone for Harper his whole career. He's always had a brash, arrogant persona around him. He's confirmed that's the case multiple times since.

Oh, wow. A video from when he was in high school.

He’s no different from Acuña. He’s loud, brash, and charismatic. He doesn’t “show up” the other team.
 
Harper is a douche. The helmet throw was pretty recent. Watching Papelbon choke him out was pretty fun.

But I can't really recall him showing up opponents.
 
Do we have a single example of Harper being a douche in the past 5 years?

Most players seem to really like him including some Braves players like Freddie.

Harper is who he is. He just doesn’t get as many chances to show it. He hasn’t changed all that much.

He's started multiple fights over the last several years. Not just been involved in fights, but started them. Also he was yelling at Snell last year after he the pitch that broke his thumb. I mean I'm sure it hurt but it was quite clearly unintentional.
