GDT: 6/22 Orioles @ Braves

WTF

It's almost 10 am, and Moylan is still within the organization, and Freeman is still with the big club.

Bring up Phillips. As for the Freeman replacement, there's not really a LHP from Gwinnett that could adequately fill his place. In short sample sizes, Webb and Leyva have done fine, but Leyva is old and neither are LHP.

I still don't understand the reason Machado wasn't intentionally walked prior to the home run. Doesn't make any sense.

On another note, the loss really stings. Really should have won this one. But we've also won some games we really should have lost. Things tend to even out. Let's take the next two.

Guys Santana had 11 homers in AAA this year before the call up and was hitting really well. I wonder if he has made any tangible changes that could lead him to be a valuable bench bat?

Santana may be a better option than Tucker, but it won't matter when Acuna returns. Santana is hard to figure out. He doesn't look anything like the player he appeared to be during his rookie year in Minnesota. Looks like he has put on some "bad" weight.

Bourjos is also currently on the roster. I think Tucker and Bourjos get sent down when Folty and Acuna are activated. I would keep Santana over those two. Tucker is the only one we can option of the three.

Love how everyone blames Moylan/Snit but not the offense until the 7th-9th or Winkler/Freeman blowing the game, typical.

Bad loss though, if Braves miss the playoffs or have to play in the stupid WC game, you can certainly look at this game as to why.
I blame Snit for bringing in Freeman since he’s basically been a mop-up pitcher this year. To be fair, I blame Washington more for the going home with Freddie decision where he was out halfway down the 3B path

Wash is so dumb. If FF stays at 3b, orioles would've IBB flowers leaving us bases loaded 0 outs
