trying to think what drove Braves attendance over 3 million in the past, and I guess it was as simple as being a high payroll team with well in trenched superstars and a likelihood of winning every night.

Last had that kind of attendance in 2000 and it dropped consistently from there never to recover much above 2.5 million. Braves currently on pace to do about 2.6 million.

Complacency is real. If the Braves make a deep playoff run this year to excite the fanbase and are good next year then you would see an attendance number that pushes 3 million.

Well, to be fair, his recent hitting streak hasn't been a bunch of doubles and homers that showed obvious regression, he's been hitting singles, beating out grounders and turning singles into doubles. THIS is what you really want to see out of Albies.
