Split not the worst thing in the world, but a serious legitimate team would have found a way to win one of the last two and certainly wouldn’t have gotten shut out when the other team’s starter went down with an injury. This split just delays the inevitable. It’s a lost season.

Still, splitting wouldn’t feel so bad if we didn’t lose the last two AND just drop a series to the Marlins. We’re 5-2 against the Mets this year to keep things in perspective. At the end of the day, we won the two games we were supposed to win.

It’s such a shame that this offense is complete ass.

We had clear pitching advantages in those games. The Mets also didn’t dig themselves a huge hole.
