GDT 6/30/23: Braves vs Marlins - Soroka's Homecoming

One thing I do miss about Soroka is his pitch count efficiency.

He's given up 3 runs but he's only at 90 pitches and can probably finish this inning. And he's not even all the way back to his peak form. Elder is the only other one who can start the 6th and finish it before being taken out.

Well if Fried were healthy he could easily go 7 most days.
 
Man it’s good to see Soroka back and pitching well. This is big for the Braves and lessens the need for pitching at the deadline.
 
Great job by Soroka. Not back to where he wants to be, but looked more confident tonight than last time.

He can be a weapon before the season is over. Should be ready for next year.
