They can't try 2 days in a row, obviously.

Except for the the time they scored 13 runs April 3, and then won 7-1 the next day.

I'm positive you're not over reacting, so it must be something else.

First, it's not about effort. It's more about energy and focus. No team can keep the energy up and stay focused for 162 games.

Second, it's all going to be anecdotal evidence no matter what you argue on a topic like this.
