Glad to see Rio in there, but I'm convinced Game7 would've had Adonis starting again without the injury. It still burns me that he used Adonis last night against a ROOGY when he was the tying run when Adonis sucks against them.

So if the Phillies sweep us we will be only 1 game ahead of them. We still have a shot at the #1 draft pick next year.

With Adonis hurt, would you straight platoon with Ruiz and camargo or strictly Ruiz?

Platoon them.

Of course, they could both be playing everyday if you sent Dansby down to AAA for awhile. That, or let Camargo take over 2B once Phillips is traded and keep Game7 from making the lineup cards which will have Garcia starting 6 out of every 7 games.

I'm genuinely curious how many on the board would be in favor of sending Swanson down for a few weeks, at minimum, to re-set his mind and re-focus his glove and his bat in the dimmer lights of AAA. And if some aren't in favor yet, when is the cut-off? We're a week into June, and he's still batting below .200, so if the answer isn't "now", I'm assuming it's "never" (at least as far as 2017 is concerned).

For the record: I'm skeptical the team would actually send Swanson down from Cobb County, even given his shaky start in the field and abysmal performance at the plate, because they pinned so much on him this season and don't want to shoot Gudetama all over their faces. But I still think it's a worthwhile discussion.

I think the defensive lapses probably deserve some sort of message being sent. i wouldn't squawk a whole lot if he was sent down. Or threatened with move to 2B.

Yes he should after his Bobblehead day. He has been outplayed. We could get a year of control back. It won't happen. It should happen.

If we don't snap out of this tonight, make a lineup with Santana, Lane, Ruiz, camargo, etc tomorrow.
