Well that is a bit different than "Blowing it up." That's more of a soft reset.

I am on the fence on trading Sale. We need a pitcher like Sale if we are going to be successful in 2026. But Sale is our best trade piece. We could certainly acquire our SS of the future by trading him.

Murphy and Ozuna need to go. We won't get much for Ozuna at this point with his injured hip and his production taking a nose dive in recent weeks. But we should be able to get more than organizational filler. Murphy should net a pretty package with the dearth of quality catchers available.
 
the rest of the season should be..

- move twit into an administrative position to help his health (promote Perez).. then clean house this offseason
- trade Ozuna and any pen guy that can fetch some gum.. listen on Murphy (but it has to wow me)
- get Baldwin the ROY
- call up any kid ready close to the end of the year and see if they can contribute in 2026
- see if Profar is a viable option next year
- pray AA isn't looking for value this next offseason by dumpster diving other teams.
